A young man and a friend were traveling to his fiancée's village . They were camped by a river at night when the groom saw a strange twig protruding from the ground. Both friends joked about the twig. The groom took his wedding ring from his pocket and placed it on the twig. He began performing the Jewish wedding dance three times around the twig, singing a wedding song and reciting the marriage vows, which greatly amused his friend.
